Winter

We were so blessed to spend time in Sunriver before the holidays. It was truly beautiful with all of the snow. The kids had so much fun sledding, hot tubbing and just hanging out with their Grandma, Grandpa and cousin. We can't wait to go back!!

Camping

We Love camping and so far this year we have taken several trips to South Beach, Detroit Lake and the rural area of Burns. At the beach the kids love playing with their friends and riding bikes.

At Detroit Lake we enjoyed being with our good friends, fishing and eating well!!

While in burns we toured an old homestead, traveled by four-wheeler to one of the highest peaks in the valley and enjoyed being away from it all in BFE (as shannon put it)!!

2010 Olympics

In February Billy and I took a trip with some good friends to Whistler where we got to watch the 2010 Winter Olympics. It was truly a trip of our lifetime. We spent a lot of time in the village walking around watching all the people, eating and of course shopping!!

One day we took the peak to peak gondola (6,102 ft.) and had an amazing view.

We watched two olympic events, the women's downhill alpine skiing and the two man bobsled!! We couldn't have got any closer to the bobsleds, they whizzed by us so fast though!!

We definitely want to go back to whistler with the whole family it is truly a beautiful place.
